18 Days Itinerary for Everest Base Camp Drive-In Fly-Out Trek
Upon your arrival at KTM International Airport, our representative will greet you and take you to your hotel. We will brief you about the base camp trekking and Everest heli trip. Spend your leisure time just relaxing after your journey or exploring Kathmandu city.
You will begin your journey with an 8 to 9-hour scenic drive to Phaplu in a private 4WD Jeep. Enjoy the amazing view as you head through lush forests, picturesque villages and beautiful valleys. Your night stay will be at Phaplu.
Start your trek and descend on the path through lush forests, crossing rivers on the way. We will arrive at Nunthala after 5 to 6 hours of trekking, where you will rest for the night.
The trail is rocky. Pass through small villages and dense forests to reach Bupsa after a 5 to 6-hour trek. There is a tea house where you can stay for the night.

Get ready for a long trek. Our trail to Namche Bazar will take 6 to 7 hours. You will be stunned by the jaw-dropping sight you will encounter. Today, we will also cross forests and a suspension bridge before reaching Sherpa town.
You already know the importance of acclimatization. So today you will rest at Namche Bazar. Explore Sherpa town, visit the Sherpa Museum, or hike at the Everest View Hotel.
Today will be a spiritual journey as we trek to Tengboche village.
The village has an ancient Monastery, a major attraction in the Everest region. You will feel more at peace by the monks’ echoing prayers.
Cross the Dodh Koshi River and walk through Pine and Rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche. You will spend the night at a tea house after a 5 to 6-hour trek.
On this day, you will continue the trek to Dingboche. Walk through small settlements with stunning views of Ama Dablam and Lhotse. We will reach Dingboche after 5 to 6 hours of walking.
We are reaching high altitudes. So, acclimatization becomes crucial. You can enjoy a short hike to Nangkartshang Peak on this rest day.
You can also explore Sagarmatha National Park Museum or hike to Everest View Hotel. You will stay at the guest house to rest for the night.
It takes 5 to 6 hours to trek from Dingboche to Lobuche. As you continue your trek, you will get to view the Glacier Valley and the icefall of Khumbu. Finally, with fantastic scenery along the way, you will reach Lobuche - a small settlement in the shadows of Mountains.
This is the day you are looking for. You will finally stand at the foot of the World’s Highest base camp, facing the tall Everest and other peaks.
Collect memories snapping the view of the Himalayas. After spending some time in EBC, trek to Gorekshep for a night stay.
Rise early before dawn and hike towards Kala Patthar, Everest’s best vantage point. Witness the sunrise from the viewpoint and snap videos as well as pictures.
From there on, we will head back to Gorekshep for breakfast and trek to Pheriche, crossing Lobuche. It will take 7 to 8 hours to complete today’s trek.
Retracing back our steps, we will journey towards Namche Bazar. The hike takes 6 to 7 hours.
We will descend from 3,440 meters to Lukla (2,800 meters), taking 6 to 7 hours. Navigating the familiar trails, suspension bridges and forests, you’ll feel the bittersweet end of this incredible journey. Overnight stay will be at Lukla.
Enjoy a morning scenic helicopter trip from Lukla to KTM. Upon arrival at KTM, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Today, you will explore World Heritage Sites with a tour guide. You can go shopping or simply relax. We will host a farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant to conclude your adventure.
Our representative will help you reach the International Airport. From there, you can catch your flight back home.
