1 Day Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour with landing at Kala Patthar Itinerary

Here’s what your incredible journey to Everest Helicopter tour will look like:

Receive you from your hotel and deport you to Tribhuvan International Airport. Remember to keep a copy of your passport and wear warm clothes, sunglasses and gloves.

Don’t forget your regular medications and water bottle. Want to bring a packed breakfast? Go for it.

Expect a quick security check-in and weigh-in. It’s a procedure that’s important for safe landing in base camp. Provide a copy of your passport to our staff. After clearing the security and boarding pass, wait in the main hall. 

We head to the helipad as soon as we get the green light. There, you will meet our pilot, who will relay the trip briefing.

Helicopter flight varies by weather conditions. But once we are clear, we take off. As we gain elevation, the magical Himalayas landscape unfolds before your eyes. 

Get your camera ready because every turn will reveal scenes you won’t want to miss - from green hills and forests of rhododendrons to mountain ranges. We then descend and land at Lukla airport to refuel.

Refresh yourself as we take a short break to refuel the Everest helicopter. Enjoy a cup of tea, use the restroom, and snap photos of Heli and the surrounding scenery. This stop is a great time to stretch your legs before we take off on a 30-minute journey.

Once the helicopter is refueled, we ascend along the Dodh-Koshi River, which originates from a glacier near Everest Base camp. Fly across Namche Bazar, Phortse, and Khumjung, and get ready for the timeless sight of Mount Everest and other Himalayan Peaks.

We’ll split the group if there are more than three people or over 250 kg weight in Pheriche. Enjoy the sight, taking photos while waiting for your turn to reach Everest Base camp.
